The Foradori winery was founded in 1939 in Mezzolombardo, in the province of Trento. Elisabetta Foradori took the reins of the company in 1984, after finishing her studies at the enological school of S. Michele all’Adige. The Teroldego Dolomites IGT “Foradori” vineyards of Elisabetta Foradori come from vineyards in the municipalities of Campo Rotaliano, in the Valle d’Adige, with alluvial, gravelly and sandy soils. The vineyard, entirely biodynamic, is made up of several parcels of 10 total hectares. The fermentation took place with indigenous yeasts in open steel tanks, while the aging took place in barrels for 12 months.
The nose is pronounced on intense aromas of red berry fruit (raspberry, cherry) and small purple flowers, with a clear mineral trace. On the palate, it develops with beautiful body and good balance. Sapid and fresh, it spreads on warm fruity notes, with a slight almond finish. Fine and harmonious.
Pairings with red meat, first courses based on tomato or meat sauce and aged cheeses.
