Sangiovese is the great grape of Tuscany. You will find it in Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino as well as in many other amazing wines like our Sangiovese IGT Toscana. The Sangiovese grape here in Tuscany’s Maremma produces wines which are ruby in colour with fragrant red fruit aromas like cherries, violet and floral notes. The vicinity to the coast make the perfect Terroir to have a great structure and good acidity with a long lasting finish.
This beautiful Red wine from the Coast, has a rich ruby colour with a nose of black cherry and spices. Sangiovese IGT Toscana has medium bodied palate. Ripe red and black fruits are balanced by fine acidity and full, ripe tannins. Because of its great body this wine pairs amazingly well with many dishes. Like tomato sauces, pizza and pasta such as lasagne. We also love it with spaghetti aglio e olio or spag bolognese. Try it with your grill, roast or even a burger!
