A vineyard in the vicinity of Provezende (Douro) also produces, except of amazing white wines, breezy red wines. This is a great example of a juicy yet light modern wine, originated from 20 years old viticulture collected by hand. It is made of a classical Red Portugal Blend (Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz).
Ruby color. Pulsing aroma, with wild fruity tones, spices, and tea leaves. Mixed harmonically with the balsamico. Slightly smudgy in a taste. Vibrant, with a quality acid and soft tannins. A Long aftertaste with a tint of minerals.
Very good with beef, game or typical portugese food like paela.

An essential white wine from Vallada. Quinta do Vallado is today the biggest and the most modern equipped winery of a Douro region. Entire production comes from their own vineyards. With Vallado you will not make a mistake when it comes to high quality. This wine only ages in stainless steel tanks and it is made of the following breeds - Rabigato, Códega, Viosinho, Gouveio (Verdelho) and Arinto. Very fresh flowery aroma with a tint of a yellow melon. Pleasant citrus fruits in the taste.
Vallado Branco 2012
A winery of long tradition over 300 years old with an Esteva flower as their symbol with a meaning of persistence and longevity; and so is the wine of their production. Distinctive opulent wine from a Douro region, but with a very well balanced taste. It is made of a Red Portuguese Blend (cuveé exclusively made of red wines from Portuguese breeds - mainly from Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Barroca). An elegant tint of spices. A strongly concentrated aroma of figs and blackcurrant with tones of tobacco and oak wood. Very velvety in a taste. Decently mineral, delicate, long and complex aftertaste. We recommend opening the wine around 30 minutes before consuming for a more vibrant experience of scents and flavors. The wine is highly rated by critics.
