Cahmpagne Marguet is placed in Ambonnay, a famous village in Montagne de Reims region. Benoit Marguet owns 12 ha of vineyards labeled as Grand Cru, where strictly grows only Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The winery's approach, both harvesting and manufacturing, is organic. Thanks to the Shaman´s Grand Cru blend from 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay, the wine creates a very elegant look. Its character is fresh and balanced with mineral structure. The aroma has undertones of black and red berries, roasted almonds and characteristic chalk subsoil. Very delicate sparkling with soft bubbles, yet certain intensity. Fresh finish.
Very good as aperitif or dishes as fois gras or pigeon.
