Cabernet sauvignon (55%), merlot (30%), cabernet franc (10%), and petit verdot (5%) from the northernmost part of Medoc, called Saint Estephe. It matures in barrels for 12 months, of which 1/3 barrels are always new. The Château Le Crock winery is part of the renowned Château Leoville Poyferré winery. Julien and vinification are under the supervision of the same oenologist, which is a woman in the case of these wineries. Château Le Crock does not deny the power of Saint Estephe and also surprises harmonic tannins.
The wine has a potential of 5-15 years according to the quality of the year and very well combines with black game and beef dishes.
