Wine category cru bourgeois Medoc. The Château Clarke winery has a long history. In 1973 the winery was bought by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, and by his honest work and investment he created an icon of this part of the region. Wine of elegant bouquet with harmonic tannins, 14 months in barrel.
The taste is dominated by tiny red fruits, maturing with tones of confused red and black currants and blackberries. Background soft caramel notes. Ideal for red meat and game. Front French chefs recommend delicate dairy lamb. Wine for exceptional occasions.
