The family winery manages 38 hectares of vineyards in the village of Bué, in Sancerre. Due to the diverse geological composition of the soil in Bué, besides the usual variety of Sauvignon Blanc, Crochet can also devote to Pinot Noir, the rose and red wines. Prestige is only vinified in an excellent year, about 4 times, at most 5 times per decade. This long-lasting maturation Sauvignon blanc is opulent, viscous with a distinctive mineral structure, yet delicate and elegant. Under good conditions, the problem is not mature for 15 to 20 years.
It will be accompanied by a lobster or other crustaceans, a St. James's sauce or poultry in cream sauce with mushrooms or black truffles.
We recommend serving around 12 - 15 °C.
