Bourgogne Aligote, Domaine de la Folie 2017
Benjamin Leroux's Bourgogne Blanc is sourced from his vineyard holdings in Meursault. This is a very high level of quality to be labelled under the banner of Bourgogne. The level of care and attention to detail undertaken by Leroux in crafting this cuveé is not dissimilar to the way he treats his 1er and Grand Cru offerings. The wine is matured in large oval-shaped vats and left quietly to rest on lees and gather texture over the winter. This is a Chardonnay with great depth and structure, and one of the best possible places to start if you're wandering into the wonderful land of white Burgundy.
Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay, Benjamin Leroux 2018
A very brisk wine from a Dão region compounded of breeds - Encruzado; Bical; Malvasia-Fina; Cerceal-Branco. In aroma predominates exotic fruit with tones of citruses and limes, nimble and harmonious elegant taste of fruitiness and a tinge of a nutmeg. It is well paired with poultry, cheeses and even well paired with Indian cuisine.
Cabriz Colheita Seleccionada Branco 2015
Great crisply fresh, biodynamic Sicilian white wine.
Catarratto Isolano, Valdibella 2017
Pure Jurassic limestone adds to this Chardonnay the structure and acids and determines it for longer aging in the cellar.
Chablis 1er Cru Montmains, J.C.Bessin 2016
Bright straw colour. Pure nose, rather chalky/stony with pure fruit like pear, citrus, lemongrass and crushed nuts. Crisp palate, medium weight, bone dry.
Chardonnay Selection, Nittnaus
Rich yellowy gold creamy baked apple and vanilla on the nose, honey and spice, very prominent full bodied, apple and peppery spice, mellows out to softer honey and vanilla flavours. Nice and juicy. Rich and complex, hardcore Chardonnay.
Chardonnay, Domaine du Château d´Eau BIO, Moillard
Cuvée is made up of Roussanne, Clairette and Grenache Blanc. Drinks are either young, in the course of two years, or up to 8-10 years after the harvest, when the ripening will change its character.
Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc, Chateau La Nerthe 2018
This cuvée boasts a lovely yellow colour with golden tints. It is fresh and intense on the nose, revealing aromas of citrus and exotic fruits, flowers and a few notes of candy, pear and pineapple. The fresh, flavoursome palate is lively, precise and pure thanks to the clear mineral backdrop and a certain opulence.
