Jean-Luc Baldès is today the seventh generation of a family winery founded in 1830. He makes honest wines with rural charm, especially from Malbec, which is a typical variegate for Southwest France. Wines are refined in oak barriques for 12 to 18 months depending on the type of wine. It is not surprising that his wines give the tone of the whole area and are among the most respected. Clos Triguedina is a flagship winery, made up of 80% of Malbec, 15% of Merlot and 5% of Tannats harvested by hand. Wine has wild, often animal tones of skin and musk, in bottle maturity supplemented by the earthy aroma of truffles, in the mouth is strong, fruity and spicy. It is suitable for grilled meat, guts and hard sheep cheese.
